Tour #1 Highlights of the "Costa Brava"
Motorcycle tours Barcelona, one of our most popular full-day motorcycle tours taking in the coastline, beaches & picturesque villages.
Motorcycle Tours Costa Brava, we leave the city and head towards the cost road north of Barcelona. The ride is approx. 45 mins before we stop for a coffee & pastry in the coastal village of Sant Pol de Mar to have breakfast by the sea. We then continue our journey to Tossa de Mar to visit the castle. It’s time to ride the curves as we take the “GI 682” coastal road which offers a twisting road with spectacular views, this road is featured in many guides as one of the best roads in Europe.
Arenys de Mar…
The first stop is where we have a light breakfast & hot drink in the small town of Arenys de Mar. This picturesque town is only a 35 min ride. We visit a small cafe that has views of the town & coast. Here we can talk a little more about the route for the day and get to know the group a little better.
Tossa de Mar…
Tossa is a true open-air museum. Its prehistoric vestiges give way to a Roman Turissa, a medieval Tursa and a modern Tossa first converted into a refuge for artists and intellectuals and later a generous host of tourists and visitors. Once we arrive we have a short stop to look at the views from the castle.
Sant Feliu de Guíxols…
We arrive here from Tossa de Mar via the famous “GI682” coastal road that offers 23kms of spectacular views with a turn for every day in the year! (365) this part will last for approx. 40 mins including stops.

Tour #2 Sant Romà de Sau (Sunken Village)
Full day motorcycle tour stopping for a traditional Catalan lunch. Taking in the heights of Montseny natural park & visiting the sunken village. Motorcycle tours Barcelona, It’s amazing to explore the country with real eyes on the scenery.
We escape the city of Barcelona we head towards the natural park of Montseny which offers some great roads as we climb higher up the mountains. Close the the summit we stop for a coffee and to enjoy the views below before we cross the top of the mountain towards the sunken village where only the spire of a church remains visible. We say goodbye to the village of Sant Roma we head west to our lunch stop in L´Estany to enjoy a hearty lunch. Before heading back via the C59 road which takes us through some of the historic villages of Cataluña.
Montseny Natural Park…
This Nature Reserve lies at the heart of the Montseny Biosphere Reserve, which was designated as such by UNESCO in 1978 and extended in 2014 to cover an area of over 50,000 hectares. The Montseny Nature Reserve is one of a network of protected natural spaces that form a green belt. The rugged terrain – with mountains set against valleys furrowed by streams and the lush woodlands. All this makes up a spectacular landscape of singular beauty.
Sant Romà de Sau…
For more than a thousand years, the Romanesque town of Sant Romà de Sau was standing in what is today in the Sau valley of Catalonia, Spain. It did so until the 1960’s when the government decided to create a reservoir that would submerge the town. The residents left, taking with them their valuables as well as their dead, leaving behind only the empty buildings.
Traditional Restaurant…
After a morning enjoying the scenic roads & fresh mountain air on our Barcelona Motorcycle tour we reach a traditional restaurant where can you choose from a selection of home cooked local dishes. In the photo you have “Botifarra amb mongetes” (Traditional Sausage & Fried Beans.) This is popular dish amongst locals & tourists alike.
Tour #3 Montserrat & Sitges
This is a great tour as the route is shorter than some of our other tours but you don´t need to choose between a coastal or mountain tour as this one will give you the opportunity to see both. The tour starts with a steady climb up the Montserrat mountain through the beautiful national park. As you climb higher the scenery and views will change until we read the top. Once we arrive at the top, we can park the motorcycles and enjoy a coffee & breakfast with the group. We then have the chance to visit the local market which is next to the famous Montserrat monastery. Following on from our visit with make our descent down towards the picturesque coastal town of Sitges via the famous wine region of Catalunya, Vilafranca del Pendes. You will see some great views as you ride down but also the roads, we take are spectacular! Once we arrive in Sitges its time sample some of the delicious fresh cuisine this town is famous for before we take the coastal road all the way back to Barcelona.
Montserrat Monastery
It’s famous for its unique rock formation that was shaped over many years by the weather. There is also a monestary to visit and a market that sells local products. We arrive here by some spectacular roads that offer some long sweeping curves as we climb to the top. Once we arrive we can enjoy a coffee & brekfast before a quick visit to the market and monestary.
Vilafranca del Pendes
One of the most famous wine producing areas of Spain, this is where most of the wine in the region of Catalunya is produced. Although they produce various wine the most famous is the “Cava” which is sparkling wine. It is a very picturesque area with rolling hills and valleys that offers some great motorcycling roads.
Sitges Coastal Town
Continuing our descent towards the coast we arrive in the Mediterranean town of Sitges. It has a long sandy beach, colourful buildings with various restaurants situated with views of the Mediterranean Sea. They offer fresh local cuisine that attracts both tourists and locals to their restaurants. Naturally, this is where we shall have our lunch before we take the costal road back to Barcelona.
